Attached is an agreement we have with BLM. These are important stipulations to remember that most of you are not aware of.

pdf NMTA FY18-2 Stipulations.pdf

Thanks,

I've seen a few photos / videos of people riding in standing water.

Please stay out of the water as we are not allowed in these.

25. Trials Bikes are not allowed in riparian areas at anytime.
Riparian areas are defined as springs, seeps and tinajas (stone water tanks). Tinajas are available to be ridden when dry conditions exist, but the club understands that no damage to the tanks shall be permitted.

 26. Established and designated trails will be routed around tinajas (with standing water) with one exception. Routes marked prior to a trials event are permitted to cross tinajas with standing water if the water develops from rain showers occurring after the course is marked, but only allowed if an alternate route cannot be identified and altered.

 27. Tinajas with standing water and riparian vegetation must have a 5 yard buffer, and are prohibited to be ridden within that buffer. Riding across riparian vegetation is prohibited. However, riding between tinajas where water is not standing and no riparian vegetation exists is allowed.

Thank you for cooperating.
